What is "Community Engagement Survey & Outreach?"

Panhandle RC&D is pleased to announce the beginning of a new community project, the "Community Engagement Survey and Outreach."  We hope you will be as excited as we are to develop and implement new strategies and goals in order to meet the diverse needs of everyone in the Nebraska Panhandle.  Panhandle RC&D has always chosen local and regional projects that stem from the ideas of citizens who live in the communities we serve, with the goal of meeting their particular needs and interests.  Diverse communities are in need of diverse ideas and projects in order to better the natural landscape as well as the landscape of the lives of those who call the Nebraska Panhandle home.

Although we all face unique challenges and problems, we all live with the same objectives of simply thriving personally, professionally, and economically; as a result, our lives are all different and yet the same.  We believe it is time to embrace and promote the inclusion of everyone in deciding how to face our looming problems.  Through the "Community Engagement Survey and Outreach," our goal is to find out how the underserved feel about the problems and issues we encounter, as well as what other issues they may be facing, in order to create an action plan based on inclusion, and that ultimately, will help everyone in the Nebraska Panhandle.  We must use diversity as a strength, because it is through strengthening relations and community collaboration that positive change can occur.
